Daniel Hannan MEP

Daniel Hannan has been Conservative MEP for the South East of England since 1999. Local Conservatives voted him to the top of the regional list for the 2004 and 2009 European elections.He is Secretary-General of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists - the only bloc in Brussels that campaigns against closer integration.In March 2009, Daniel’s speech in the European Parliament attacking Gordon Brown attracted one-and-a-half million views within 72 hours, and went on to become the most watched political clip in British history.

Emma Evans

Mrs Emma Evans is the Deputy Chairman (with responsibility for fund raising) of the Association.

Richard Ashworth MEP

Richard was born in 1947 in Folkestone, Kent and he is married to Sally.  They have three daughters.Before being elected to the European Parliament in June 2004 to represent the South East of England (he was also a candidate in 1999), Richard stood as the Conservative candidate for North Devon Westminster constituency in the 1997 General Election.

Nirj Deva MEP

Nirj was educated at St Joseph's Catholic College, Colombo and Loughborough University. He has been an aeronautical Engineer, Scientist and a Company Chairman and Director from 1997-99. He was a Member of Parliament, Brentford & Isleworth, from 1992-97.He was PPS to Minister of State, Scottish Office, 1996-97. Since 1985, he has been a HM Deputy Lieutenant for the Lord Lieutenancy of London. He was Chairman of the Bow Group in 1981 and on the Council of the Royal Commonwealth Society from 1976-80. He was a Special Advisor for Ethnic Affairs to the Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP.
