Detailed plans for a new state-of-the-art Worthing Integrated Care Centre (WICC) are now available online as part of a public consultation.
Due to the coronavirus disruption, the WICC plans will no longer be displayed at Worthing Town Hall, but are available via the Councils’ website.
The deadline for submission of comments is 13th April 2020.
The £34 million development will provide GP, mental health, community and dentistry services, as well as further services for families and children and a pharmacy. It will also include a multi storey car park. Located on the site of the car park at the back of Worthing Town Hall, it will see the existing Central Clinic site demolished to make way for the new one-stop shop facility.
The WICC and a multi-storey car park are to be funded by Worthing Borough Council through loans to be recouped through rent and income and the council would like to hear the views of the public on the development.
