Tim Loughton MP is hosting a Pensioners’ Fair in the Guildbourne Centre, Worthing this Friday 20th March from 10am-3pm. The event will take place inside the atrium of the Guildbourne Centre and will include the use of a vacant shop for confidential one-to-one meetings.
After last year’s successful fair in Lancing Parish Hall, Tim is making the event a regular feature in his constituency calendar. The Pensioners’ Fair will cover a range of issues that affect pensioners from concerns on health to heating and housing to elderly wellbeing. A variety of organisations will set up stalls and representatives will be on hand to talk to residents and hand out information.
The complete list of organisations attending are: Adur and Worthing Councils, Adur Community Alarm, Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Carers Support, Freedom Powerchairs, Guild Care, Independent Lives, National Energy Action, Prudential Financial Planning, Royal Voluntary Service, Southern Water, Sussex Police, Wellbeing Hub, Worthing Homes, Your Community Energy Shop, and Adur and Worthing Councillors.
Commenting, Tim said: ‘I am excited that this Pensioners’ Fair will be bigger than ever. We have a larger venue and more organisations. The location in central Worthing means we are expecting to attract more attendees than ever before. I will be there all day and be on hand to answer any queries that I can deal with as MP.
