Tim Loughton welcomed Southwick Camera Club to Parliament on 27th November to show them round the All- Party Parliamentary Photographic Competition.
The annual Competition is open to all members of both the House of Commons and House of Lords with the winning photographs chosen by a panel of photographic industry experts. A number of photos from members of both houses are selected as winners for the final exhibition which is displayed in both houses for a certain period of time.
The exhibition, currently on display in the House of Commons, contains five photos taken by Tim and he was on hand to talk the 13 members of the club through each entry, explaining which peer or MP had submitted them. Tim then took them for a tour of Parliament shortly before he took part in a debate on historic child sex abuse, which the members of the club watched from the public gallery.
Tim commented:
‘I was very happy to welcome Southwick Camera Club to Parliament to show them round the exhibition, especially as they did not get to see it last year. I hope they enjoyed themselves and I look forward to seeing them next year’
