A fabulous night was had by all sections of the Worthing community on Monday (August 15th) at the official opening of the new Brio restaurant in Worthing, on the corner of Steyne Gardens and Marine Parade just next to the Chatsworth Hotel. The opening night was atended by 70 guests who enjoyed the authentic Italian food and hospitality. As well as the excellent cuisine and wine, there was music by Smokestack and an open mike for guests to join in. If guests weren't eating they were dancing!
Restaurant owner and entrepreneur Walter Manenti was thrilled with the evening, commenting " What a great night, so successful, and a pleasure to have the Mayor of Worthing and so many VIPs enjoying Italian hospitality. It's been a pleasure to support the Mayor's Charities which will be changing peoples lives in Worthing. Brio will be continuing to support the Mayor's Charities throughout 2011."
Cllr Ann Barlow has chosen Acorn Pregnancy Counselling, Worthing and Arun Mind, Oak Grove College, and The Lauren Jones Foundation as her supported charities throughout her Mayoral Year
